Does my athlete have to do sideline to be on the competition team?
Yes, in order for an athlete to be on the competiton team they have had to participate in sideline.

Does my athlete have to do competiton to be on the sideline team?
No, the sideline only option is a great opportunity for multi sport athletes or athletes who want to try cheer for the first time.

Does my athlete get to keep their uniform?
Sideline athletes will recieve a uniform to wear for football games and they will return them at the end of the season.
Competition athletes will purchase their own uniform and keep it. Sisters Youth Cheer will use each uniform for three seasons before getting a new one. The 2025-2026 season is the second season with the current uniform so if your athlete competed last year (Youth and Juniors) they will not need to purchase a new uniform. Minis will need to purchase a new competition uniform.

What if we have to miss a competition?
Cheerleading is a TEAM sport and routines are built around each athlete being there, having an important role in the routine. If you can not make the commitment sideline may be a better option for your athlete.

What if my child loves sideline and wants to continue on to competiton season?
The decision to switch from sideline to competition must be made by September 1st for NEW athletes.

Are practices mandatory?
Yes. Cheerleading is a TEAM sport and with one athlete missing the practice is not as effective. Sickness are often unpreventable and there is an absence form you are expected to fill out if your athlete will miss.

Do we have to stay the night in a hotel the night before a competition?
No. You are not required to stay the night before in a hotel however, arriving on time to a competition is required so plan accordingly.

Are there scholarships available?​
At this time no. We do haave fundraising options avaiable that will directly cover your athletes costs.
